Hi, thank you for the invite to join. My name is Daniel Hill, I was a teaching assistant in an SEN school of mixed ages and ability for 4 1/2 years before I set out to become a teacher. I under went a Skill Enhancement Course for Edge Hill University in Computer Science and ICT. I used these skills to teach classes in mainstream secondary schools for a year. I am not happy to say that I have completed my NQT year in an SEN Primary School in Manchester and am about to undertake a lead role in Computing within the school. I am excited to explore new ways which can enable pupils of all abilities can access new technologies to aid in their education, understanding and communication.

There is a fundamental mismatch between the curriculum and the means of recognising achievement and monitoring progress.
